Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are diagnosed with schizophrenia or Major Depressive Disorder according to DSM-5 2. Healthy controls who are free from mental illnesses according to M.I.N.I. 3. Participants must be 20 years of age or older when they make agreements. 4. Participants can understand the objectives of the research and whose written agreements are obtained.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals who have intracranial metal objects. 2. Individuals who are using life support electric devices such as pacemaker. 3. Individuals who have severe heart diseases. 4. Individuals who have history of epilepsy. 5. Individuals who are suspected to have dementia. 6. Individuals who have relationship with department of psychiatry at University of Tsukuba Hospital. 7. Individuals who are inappropriate to participate in the study for other reasons, judged by the research conductor.
