Conduct a dietary therapy based on Japanese Clinical Practice Guideline for Diabetes 2019 (Japan Diabetes Society) for 24 weeks

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Japanese 2. Male or female 3. Subjects aged 20 or more 4. Subjects whose fasting blood glucose is 126 mg/dL or more and HbA1c (NGSP) is 6.5% or more 5. Subjects who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects who are judged as ineligible to participate in the study by the physician 2. Subjects who cannot receive the intervention on the planned date

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. The proportion of subjects whose fasting blood glucose is less than 126 mg/dL after the intervention 2. The proportion of subjects whose HbA1c (NGSP) is less than 6.5% after the intervention

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. The measured values of fasting blood glucose and HbA1c (NGSP) at 8, 16 and 24 weeks after the start of the intervention
