Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: at least 18 years old who have type 2 diabetes treated with at least 1 antihyperglycemic medication, are receiving an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor or an angiotensin II receptor blocker, and have an eGFR of 30 to 70 mL/min/1.73 m2 and a urinary albumin/creatinine ratio >300 mg/g and <3000 mg/g.
