Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Main inclusion criteria 1. With BMI >=25.0 2. With visceral fat area >=100 cm2 as determined with abdominal CT 3. Previously diagnosed with glucose intolerance or type 2 diabetes, and HbA1c (NGSP) >=6.5% to =150 mg/dL and/or fasting serum HDL-cholesterol <40 mg/dL
