Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: - aged 20-74 years - documented non-small cell lung cancer(excluding squamous cell carcinoma) - stage IIIB (w/o indication for curative radiotherapy), stage IV or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer - no prior chemotherapy for non-small cell lung cancer Exclusion criteria: - metastasis to the central nervous system - history or presence of hemoptysis or bloody sputum occurring repeatedly or requiring medication - tumor invading or abutting major blood vessels - cavitation of pulmonary tumor lesion - pregnant or lactating women - fertile men or women of childbearing potential, not using adequate contraception - significant traumatic injury or major surgical procedures within 4 weeks prior to randomization - current or recent treatment (within 4 weeks prior to randomization) with another investigational drug, or participation in another investigational study
