Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Between January 2015 and October 2016, a total of 740 individuals who had an examination for DN were included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients younger than 20 years, with other neurological disorders than DN were excluded. Patients who could not undergo an examination for DN because of lower extremity edema and injuries were also excluded.

MeasureTime frame
Sural nerve conduction velocity (SNCV) and amplitude (SNAP).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Blood glucose levels, HbA1c, blood pressure, lipid profile, and indicators of arteriosclerosis such as ABI, TBI, and baPWV.
