Conditions

Persons who require blood transfusion at the time of surgery, although the name of the disease is not specified.

Interventions

Before transfusion, 1-3 weeks and 3-5 weeks after transfusion (but at least 2 weeks after the second blood draw) 3 mL of venous blood is drawn from the subject.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects who meet all of the following selection criteria are selected. 1. A person who has received or are scheduled to receive a transfusion for treatment within the past 3 weeks 2. Nationality Japan 3. A person who is judged by the medical institution research director or the medical institution research coordinator to have no problem in participation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Study subjects who violate any of the following exclusion criteria are excluded. 1. A person who suffers from infectious disease or blood disease. 2. Alcohol or drug addicts, people who are depressed. 3. A person who has not recovered from a serious condition. 4. A Person who has received at least 2 blood transfusions in the past 6 months. 5. Subjects whose sampling in this study may adversely affect the patient's condition. 6. A person weighing less than 50 kg for men and less than 40 kg for women. 7. A person who is considered inappropriate to participate in this research by the medical institution research director or the medical institution research coordinator.

MeasureTime frame
The sensitivity and specificity of the measurement of transfused red blood cells by flow cytometry are evaluated by measuring the blood of transfused patients.
