Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Subjects who meet the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder according to the DSM-IV-TR for at least 1 year before screening.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Subjects who have an active DSM-IV-TR axis I diagnosis other than schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. - Subjects who have a history of substance dependence within 6 months before screening or alcoholism.
