Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who are diagnosed with malignant tumor and scheduled to undergo surgery (excluding endoscopic resection) under general anesthesia at Nagasaki University Hospital (including first occurrence and recurrence). 2.Patients who have been fully informed about the participation in this study, and who have given written consent of their own free will based on sufficient understanding.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are managed under intubation by postoperative tracheotomy. 2. Patients who are unable to gargle. 3. Patients who have allergic to iodine or have abnormal thyroid function. 4. Principal or cooperative doctors judge patients as inappropriate as research subjects.
