Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria were complete deep finger flexor (FDP) rupture with or without zone I or II shallow finger flexor (FDS) rupture, and those who started joint range of motion training of the operated finger within 1 week postoperatively.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were patients who had received a tendon graft or tendon transplant, had extensor tendon injuries, fractures, or joint injuries, required skin reconstruction, required outpatient visits to other hospitals, or were unable to make outpatient visits at least 3 times per week for 8 weeks postoperatively.
