Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Students, faculty and staff enrolled at the University of Tokushima, or patients visiting the University of Tokushima Hospital. Able-bodied people between 20 and 60 years old. Persons diagnosed with sleep braxism by dental electromyography measurement during sleep.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Those with missing dentition except for the third molars. Ongoing dental treatment, including orthodontic treatment. Those that cannot be properly evaluated due to brain or psychiatric/neurological disorders. Shaking teeth due to severe periodontitis, etc. in all jaws. Sleep-related illness, medical or neurological disorder, drug use or substance use disorder. Baseline dental electromyography measurement during sleep that did not diagnose sleep bruxism.
