Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The presence of lumbar spinal stenosis with a slipping rate 10% or more at L4-5 in the neutral position on a standing radiograph and microscopic decompression performed at L4-5 without spinal fusion

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any previous lumbar surgery, concomitant disc herniation, radiculopathy due to intra- and/or extra-foraminal stenosis, female patients receiving hormone replacement therapy for postmenopausal conditions and/or who had an oophorectomy prior to surgery or during the follow-up period.

MeasureTime frame
The Japanese Orthopedic Association (JOA) score, a visual analog scale (VAS) for low back pain and leg symptoms, radiographic evaluation (slipping rate, translational mobility, and angular mobility)

Complications or any harmful effect, evaluation of reoperation cases
