Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Any of the following five types of dementia patients, Alzheimer's disease dementia Vascular dementia Dementia with Lewy bodies Frontotemporal dementia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Has a comorbid metabolic disorder (e.g., hypothyroidism, vitamin B12 deficiency). 2) Has a history of head trauma. 3) Exhibits symptoms of delirium caused by medication. 4) Is dependent on alcohol. 5) Has comorbid depression being treated with antidepressants. 6) Is receiving treatment with antipsychotic medications for psychiatric symptoms (e.g., confusion, hallucinations, delusions, or abnormal behavior). 7) Has comorbid schizophrenia, mania, severe cardiac disease, or liver disease. 8) Has impaired renal function with a creatinine clearance (Ccr) of 20 ml/min or less. 9) Is undergoing treatment for malignant tumors. 10) Is deemed unsuitable for participation in this study by the principal investigator.

| The subjects will be stratified based on hippocampal atrophy levels into two groups: less than 2.00 and less than 1.50. Neuropsychological tests (MMSE, Hasegawa Dementia Scale, Motivation Score, Self-Rating Depression Scale, Frontal Lobe Function Test, and ADAS-Jcog) will be compared before and 12 months after administration using the Wilcoxon rank-sum test. | — |
