Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients scheduled for thoracoscopic lung surgery 2) Patients aged 18 or older at the time of consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with abnormal QTc interval on preoperative ECG (QTc 450 ms in males / > 460 ms in females) 2) Patiets in whom sinus rhythm is not maintained on preoperative ECG 3) Patients with allergy or contraindication to anesthetics (propofol, desflurane, fentanyl, remifentanil, rocuronium, sugammadex, or ropivacaine) 4) Patients scheduled for continued intubation management postoperatively

Difference in QTc interval between preoperative and immediate postoperative periods in thoracoscopic lung resection

MeasureTime frame
- Association between postoperative QTc interval and blood cytokine levels or local anesthetic concentrations - Association between postoperative QTc interval and autonomic nervous system indices (heart rate variability or pupil diameter) - Perioperative changes in QTc interval (from preoperative to postoperative day 1)
