Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with an implantable LVAD and undergoing treatment at home Patients aged 18 years and over

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are unable to understand and cooperate with the study Patients who are expected to undergo heart transplantation or LVAD withdrawal within one month of participation in the study Other patients deemed unsuitable by the principal investigator/project leader

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Availability of data collection on LVAD driving sounds, patient activity level, etc. in the home environment of LVAD patients.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in LVAD drive sound during changes in LVAD drive conditions (e.g. during low-flow alarms) and the appearance of patient symptoms (e.g. lightheadedness).
