Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) 18 years of age or older 2) ECOG performance status 0-2 3) Histologically diagnosed with esophageal cancer 4) Clinical stage Stage I-IVA (UICC TNM 8th edition) 5) Scheduled to receive chemoradiation therapy with a total dose of 50 Gy or more 6) Dysphagia score of 2 or less 7) Maintaining upright position for 3 minutes
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) History of surgery on the esophagus (excluding endoscopic treatment) 2) Implanted pacemaker or cardioverter-defibrillator 3) Uncontrolled diabetes 4) Systemic infection requiring systemic treatment 5) Pregnant or possibly pregnant 6) Determined by the principal investigator or co-investigator to be unsuitable for participation in this study
