Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: COPD patients attending the Respiratory Medicine Outpatient Clinic at Shiga University of Medical Science Hospital during the study period. Those who are age 65 years or older at the time of enrollment. Those who have a history of smoking. However, the number of years and number of cigarettes smoked will not be asked ab out smoking history. Gender is not a factor. Those who own and use a smartphone on which the COPD Self-Management Support Service application can be installed. The attending physician has determined that the patient is capable of wearing the tri-axial accelerometer and entering the patient's medical records into the smartphone application. Those who have agreed to participate in this study by signing a consent form.
