Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients scheduled for cardiac surgery via median sternotomy using cardiopulmonary bypass

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Contraindication for intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography 2. Contraindication for the anesthetics scheduled to be used (propofol, fentanyl, remifentanil, rocuronium)
