Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who are equal or older than 20 years old. Patients with knee osteoarthritis and receive knee arthroplasty who visited the institution during the period of the date of IRB approval and March 31, 2024. Patients who are able to obtain written informed consent about this study. Patients who will receive the same side re-surgery and contralateral postsurgery are considered eligible.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are unable to answer the questionnaire. Patients whom doctors in charge consider inadequate to participate. Patients with abnormal surgical site condition or pain due to infection etc.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The amount of bioactive molecule in knee synovial fluid obtained during the surgery.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The amount of blood bioactive molecule obtained during the surgery. Association between perioperative pain intensity and questionary result. Association between synovial bioactive molecule amount and perioperative pain intensity.
