Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Standby surgical patients between 10 and 18 years of age scheduled for induction of anesthesia with intravenous propofol and for whom no premedication has been prescribed.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Peripheral venous tracts placed from the ward are placed outside the forearm, patients who cannot use propofol (e.g., lecithin allergy), patients with an American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Score (ASA-PS) of 3 or higher (patients with complications that make daily living difficult), patients with cold urticaria, patients with cold urticaria for any reason and their family members refuse
