Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| As evaluation outcomes, the primary endpoints are epileptic neural activity specifically observed in the thalamus before and after an epileptic seizure (waveforms, frequency, and symptomatology during seizures and interictal EEG, functional connectivity between electrodes, and EI for each electrode). | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Secondary endpoints included thalamic activity at rest, thalamic activity during task loading, procedure performed, seizure prognosis, pre- and postoperative higher brain function, and radiological imaging. | — |
