Interventions

In the intervention group, specific music will be played once daily during the feeding period from 19:00 to 22:00, from the preterm period until 3 months corrected age, for a maximum of 30 minutes. A

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Preterm infants born at less than 34 weeks of gestation Clinically stable after 30 weeks of corrected age and eligible for music intervention Written informed consent obtained from the parents/guardians who have understood the content of this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Infants diagnosed with chromosomal or genetic abnormalities Infants with multiple congenital anomalies Infants with severe intracranial lesions detected on cranial ultrasound, such as grade III/IV intraventricular hemorrhage or cystic periventricular leukomalacia Infants suspected of having hearing impairment based on auditory brainstem response Infants with unstable circulatory or respiratory conditions requiring vasopressors or mechanical ventilation

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Promotion of brain network development during EEG assessments at 36-40 weeks corrected age and at 3 months corrected age.
