Osteoarthritis of knee joint OA

Interventions

Intravenous fludeoxyglucose of 3.5 mSv/kg and walking load of 3.6 km/h for 20 min will be performed followed by PET-CT imaging.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients diagnosed with primary knee OA by X-ray evaluation 2) Patients who understand the study and can perform exercise on a treadmill 3) Patients who have given written consent of their own free will after giving full informed consent to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Those who have been diagnosed and are undergoing treatment for diabetes or those who have an HbA1c of 6.5% or higher without treatment 2) Patients with a history of medical diseases (e.g. heart failure) that should be avoided during exercise 3) Patients with lower limb complaints except for knee joint pain 4) Those who have undergone PET scans in the past and have a history of allergy to the drug (18F-FDG) (5) Those who are judged by the principal investigator or sub-investigator to be unsuitable as research subjects
