Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who, prior to participating in this study, received a full explanation and, having fully understood the matter, provided written consent of their own free will 2. Patients aged 18 years or over but under 75 years at the time consent was obtained 3.Patients who, in accordance with the Clinical Practice Guidelines for Cerebrospinal Fluid Leakage (December 2019, Chugai Medical Publishing), present with primary symptoms such as orthostatic headache, neck pain, dizziness, visual disturbances and fatigue, and for whom a clinical suspicion of cerebrospinal fluid leakage is considered reasonable.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are unable to remain standing or seated, and for whom a CT scan cannot be performed safely.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Qualitative assessment: Assessment of changes in the morphology of the cerebral parenchyma, the subdural and subarachnoid spaces, and the characteristics of the dura mater, as seen on CT scans taken in the standing and supine positions. Quantitative assessment: The distance of displacement of structures such as the cerebellar tonsils, the pituitary stalk and the pineal gland.

MeasureTime frame
Correlation between the findings of the primary endpoints and the subjective symptoms of the patients, other imaging findings such as head MRI, cerebrospinal fluid scintigraphy and spinal MRI, and results of cerebrospinal fluid tests.
