Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who provide written informed consent after receiving sufficient explanation and understanding the study. 2. Patients aged 18 years or older at the time of informed consent. 3. Patients clinically diagnosed with Graves disease and scheduled to undergo elective total thyroidectomy. 4. Patients considered able to be followed until 6 months after surgery as part of routine clinical care.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients receiving lipid-lowering drugs at the time of enrollment. 2. Patients diagnosed with primary dyslipidemia, such as familial hypercholesterolemia. 3. Patients with comorbidities considered to have a major influence on lipid metabolism, such as nephrotic syndrome, active liver disease, or severe renal dysfunction. 4. Pregnant or breastfeeding patients. 5. Patients with thyroid storm. 6. Patients requiring emergency surgery. 7. Patients judged by the principal investigator or subinvestigators to be unsuitable for participation in this study.
