Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with gestational diabetes at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Nagoya City University West Medical Center, between November 2024 and March 2027. 2. Patients planning to give birth at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Nagoya City University West Medical Center 3. Women aged 20 or older

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have previously undergone self-injection of insulin. 2. Patients who are unable to confirm their own wishes. 3. Patients who the principal investigator decides inappropriate.

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of adipokines including high molecular weight adiponectin, leptin, and FABP4, between insulin-treated and non-insulin-treated groups in gestational diabetes mellitus.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of clinical test values between groups that have started insulin treatment and those that have not started it in gestational diabetes mellitus. Comparison of inbody measurement values between groups that have started insulin treatment and those that have not started it in gestational diabetes mellitus.
