Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Intervention Group: Patients who are 18 years or older at the time of surgery, with preoperative imaging (such as CT scans or cholangiography) showing bile duct dilation (5mm) at the planned resection line, undergoing liver resection with biliary reconstruction (hepaticojejunostomy). The underlying disease is not specified. Control Group: Patients who underwent liver resection with biliary reconstruction (hepaticojejunostomy) with preoperative imaging (such as CT scans or cholangiography) showing bile duct dilation (5mm) at the planned resection line, from January 1, 2014, to December 31, 2023. The underlying disease is not specified.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Cases scheduled for simultaneous hepato-pancreatic resection with arterial and portal vein resection and reconstruction. Cases using steroids and immunosuppressants. Cases without preoperative biliary drainage.
