Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18 years or older at baseline transthoracic echocardiography 2. Of patients who underwent transthoracic echocardiografy from January 2016 to December 2017, mitral gradiemt 5 or more mmHg and mitral annulus calcification were observed

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with prior mitral valve surgery 2. patients with prior aotic valve replacement and valve dysfunction 3. patients who underwent transthoracic echocardiography within 24 hours after development of acute heart failure 4. patients with congenital heart diseases 5. patients who needed mechanical circulatory supports 6. patients who were not appropriate for this study based on the reserchers' decision 7. patients who reject the registration of this study as a result of the optout
