Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 years or older with moderate or severe acute cholecystitis Patients considered unsuitable or high-risk for early cholecystectomy Patients from whom written informed consent can be obtained from the patient or legal representative

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: atients suspected of gallbladder perforation Patients with ascites around the gallbladder or liver surface Patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis or portal hypertension Patients with severe coagulopathy Patients unable to discontinue antithrombotic agents Patients anatomically unsuitable for EUS-GBD Patients judged inappropriate for study participation by the investigators
