Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients who underwent brain MRI for clinical purposes (2) Patients suspected of having mild cognitive impairment (3) Adults, mainly middle-aged to older individuals at increased risk of dementia (4) Individuals who provided written informed consent after receiving sufficient explanation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Individuals who refused participation in this study (except when anonymized data had already been shared with collaborating institutions) (2) Individuals judged inappropriate by the principal investigator

Correlation between brain atrophy and optical path length measured by TRS-NIRS (760 nm, 800 nm, and 830 nm)

(1) Correlations between TRS-NIRS parameters (mainly oxygen saturation and optical path length) and blood test parameters (2) Correlations between TRS-NIRS / blood test parameters and questionnaire-based assessment scales
