Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Eligible subjects for this study are those who satisfy all of the following inclusion criteria and none of the exclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged 20 years or older. 2. Individuals in whom polyps or other lesions are detected during upper or lower gastrointestinal endoscopic screening at the Cancer Institute Hospital Ariake Screening Center. 3. Individuals who, after receiving a full explanation of the study, have adequately understood the contents and voluntarily provided written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects meeting any of the following criteria will be excluded from participation in this study: 1. Individuals in whom no polyps or other lesions are detected on upper or lower gastrointestinal endoscopy. 2. Individuals deemed by the attending physician to be unsuitable for participation in this study. 3. Individuals from whom written informed consent for participation in this study cannot be obtained.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome of this study is the diagnostic accuracy of the endoscopic AI in relation to the size categories of gastrointestinal polyp lesions: diminutive (1-4 mm), moderate (5-9 mm), and large (10 mm<).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcomes of this study are the sensitivity and specificity of the endoscopic AI in relation to the size categories of gastrointestinal polyp lesions: diminutive (1-4 mm), moderate (5-9 mm), and large (10 mm<).
