Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. who undergo TKA for diagnosis of OA at Nippon Medical School Chiba Hokuso Hospital 2. age 55-85 years old 3. who were independent in activities of daily living prior to surgery 4. who are able to understand and cooperate with the purpose and methods of this study 5. who have been given an explanation of this study in writing and have given their consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Those with a history of musculoskeletal disease other than the operated side, which significantly limits their ADL 2. Those with musculoskeletal disorder on the opposite side of the operated side, which significantly reduces their walking ability 3. Those with neurological symptoms such as motor paralysis or ataxia due to central nervous system disease 4. Those with implanted electrodes such as pacemakers 5. Those with dementia or reduced comprehension, which makes it difficult to understand instructions or express basic intentions 6. Those with skin allergies 7. Those with pneumonia, fractures, or mobile deep vein thrombosis 8. Those suffering from mental illness 9. Those undergoing treatment for malignant tumors or complications associated with malignant tumors 10. Those with a BMI of 35 or higher 11. Those who the principal investigator or co-investigator deems inappropriate to participate in this study
