Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy adult aged 18-65 years who consented to participate were included in this study. 2. Subjects who received a sufficient explanation during the preoperative assessment and provided voluntary written informed consent with full understanding were included. 3. Patients with an American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status of II or lower were included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who refuse to participate in the study. 2. Patients deemed unsuitable as research subjects by the principal investigator. 3. Patients with an American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status of III or higher. 4. Patients taking oral medications that affect the autonomic nervous system. 5. Patients with autonomic dysfunction, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, or cerebrovascular disease. 6. Patients receiving epidural anesthesia or a peripheral nerve block in addition to general anesthesia. 7. Patients with a history of allergy to general anesthetics or to foods such as dairy products or soybeans.
