chronic kidney disease secondary hyperparathyroidism

Interventions

1) Patients not currently using Ca receptor agonists Ca receptor agonists will be used for 3 months, then discontinued for 3 months. Fluctuations in iPTH Ca P will be adjusted using active vitamin D.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who have been undergoing hemodialysis for more than 3 months, have secondary hyperparathyroidism, and can use Ca receptor agonists for routine medical purposes.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pre-dialysis serum Ca concentration < 8.4mg/dl / Non-pregnant patients / Patients with nasal congestion / Patients with reduced saliva secretion / Patients with zinc, copper, iron, or vitamin B12 deficiency / Patients who have had COVID-19 infection within the past six months / Patients undergoing dental treatment such as tooth extraction / Patients who have suffered from head trauma, chronic otitis media, or chemotherapy within the past six months / Patients with poorly controlled diabetes
