Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with suspected adult growth hormone deficiency who will receive GHRP-2 at Kitasato University Hospital from the date of approval by the head of the research institute to September 30, 2026.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) severe obesity (BMI 35 kg/m2 or more) 2) Patients under 18 years old (not intended for pediatric patients) 3) Patients with contraindications to GHRP-2 (GHRP-100 for Injection) 4) Diabetes mellitus

MeasureTime frame
Comparing the values of glucose metabolism-related hormones (GH, ACTH, cortisol, insulin, glucagon, GLP-1, GIP, and blood glucose levels) before and after GHRP-2 loading

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The amount of change in GH levels before and after GHRP-2 administration and the amount of each hormone related to glucose metabolism (GH, ACTH, cortisol, insulin, glucagon, GLP-1, GIP, and blood glucose) will be compared for each disease. To verify whether there is a correlation between the change in GH levels before and after GHRP-2 administration and each hormone related to glucose metabolism (GH, ACTH, cortisol, insulin, glucagon, GLP-1, GIP, and blood glucose levels). To examine whether there is a correlation between the change in ACTH levels before and after GHRP-2 administration and each hormone related to glucose metabolism (GH, ACTH, cortisol, insulin, glucagon, GLP-1, GIP, and blood glucose levels). To examine whether there is a correlation between the change in cortisol levels before and after GHRP-2 administration and each hormone related to glucose metabolism (GH, ACTH, cortisol, insulin, glucagon, GLP-1, GIP, and blood glucose levels). To examine whether there is a correlation between the change in blood glucose levels before and after GHRP-2 administration and each hormone related to glucose metabolism (GH, ACTH, cortisol, insulin, glucagon, GLP-1, GIP, and blood glucose levels).
