Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: From the date of research approval until March 31, 2028, this study will include patients with conditions that are prone to cause neonatal pulmonary hypertension specifically, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, omphalocele, and extremely low birth weight infants who are born at the Department of Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Urology at Juntendo University Hospital, as well as at the Departments of Pediatric Surgery at Juntendo University Urayasu Hospital and Juntendo University Nerima Hospital. In addition, umbilical cords will be collected from term-born infants to serve as a comparison group.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Individuals whom the principal investigator deems unsuitable as research subjects will be excluded. Those who do not meet any of the exclusion criteria will be considered eligible.
