Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 years or older undergoing surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who require postoperative management with endotracheal tube intubation remaining in place. 2. Patients with difficulty in communication.

MeasureTime frame
Prevalence of postoperative thirsty - The primary outcome is the proportion of patients who report a thirst intensity score of 4 or higher on the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) before resuming oral intake.
