Interventions

Isometric contraction exercises targeting the quadriceps will be implemented as part of the resistance training program.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients hospitalized for cardiovascular diseases, including heart failure and acute myocardial infarction, who received cardiac rehabilitation during hospitalization

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with impaired cognitive function who are unable to comprehend the purpose of the study, those with gait disturbance, and those with severe heart failure including end-stage heart failure will be excluded from the study.
