Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The study subjects will be elderly people in their 60s to early 80s with mild dementia or mild cognitive impairment (MCI)(MMSE scores of 18-27) recommended by Dr. Akinori Futamura and Dr. Yukiko Mori of the Dementia Outpatient Clinic, Department of Neurology, Showa University Hospital East, who have no direct interest in the applicant, and their accompanying family caregivers. cafe, and community residents with pre-dementia and their accompanying caregivers who fulfill the evaluation criteria. Research collaborators who have obtained written consent from the subjects or their family members to participate in this study will be considered eligible participants. A control group is the healthy adult who participated in the brain-waves measurement investigation in 2019 for the evaluation of function of a simple electroencephalograph.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Intervention group: (1) Subjects who are unable to listen to music due to hearing loss (2) Subjects who are unable to exercise due to musculoskeletal disorders or diseases of internal organs (3) Subjects deemed ineligible by the physician in charge of the research Control group: (1) Subjects who are unable to listen to music due to hearing loss (2) Subjects who are unable to exercise due to musculoskeletal disorders or diseases of internal organs (3) Subjects deemed ineligible by the physician in charge of the research
