Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who underwent HeartMate 3 implantation at our hospital in the period from April 1, 2008, to December 31, 2023. Data from patients who underwent HeartMate II implantation in the same period are also used for comparison. Data from patients who underwent other surgeries in the same period may be also used for reference.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: cases lacking essential data
