Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Thirty adult patients who are scheduled to undergo general anesthesia under tracheal intubation at our hospital and who meet all of the following criteria: 1) an arterial catheter is inserted in the upper extremity 2) a pulmonary artery catheter is inserted 3) Written informed consent to participate in research before surgery Therefore, the target patients are expected to be mainly those undergoing cardiovascular surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclude patients and timings that meet any of the following: 1. Timing when using extracorporeal circulation 2. Patients with an arteriovenous shunt 3. Patients with severe respiratory disease 4. Patients with severe acid-base imbalance, timing 5. Patients who cannot wear the SpHb sensor due to finger deformation or low perfusion, timing when SpHb cannot be obtained 6. Within 10 minutes after changing ventilator settings 7. Body temperature outside the range of from 35 to 38 degrees Celsius
