Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who meet all of the following criteria will be enrolled (a) Patients with acute main artery occlusion who underwent recanalization treatment with IV-tPA or endovascular therapy in the acute phase of cerebral infarction onset (b) Patients who underwent recanalization therapy at a facility in Aomori Prefecture (c) Patients with confirmed occlusion of the main cerebral arteries (internal carotid artery [extracranial, intracranial], anterior cerebral artery, middle cerebral artery, vertebral artery, basilar artery, posterior cerebral artery)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient, patient's family or guardian does not wish to participate in the study

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1) Actual treatment of occlusion of the main cerebral artery in Aomori Prefecture 2) Incidence of IV-tPA, MT, and occlusion of the main cerebral artery in Aomori Prefecture

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1) Ratio of mRS 0-2 at 90 days (+-10 days) after onset 2) Death within 7 days of onset 3) Death within 90 days (+-10 days) of onset 4) Percentage of effective vessel recanalization (modified Mori grade 2 or higher, TICI 2b or higher) in the target vessel 5) Symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage within 24 hours of onset
