Interventions

Inhalation of 50% nitrous oxide is performed from start of closing surgical incision to 5 minutes before discontinuation of anesthetic agent.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who received general anesthesia combined with epidural anesthesia Patients who received Pancreaticoduodenectomy/Distal pancreatectomy or Hepatectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who can not receive epidural anesthesia Patients with difficulty of core or peripheral temeperature probe placement

Incidence of postanesthetic shivering from just after emergence to 30 minutes after emergence.

Severity of postanesthetic shivering Heart rate, blood pressure, SpO2, Perfusion index during 30 minutes after emergence from anesthesia Adverse events during postoperative 24 hours
