Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Proportion of patients who achieved/did not achieve the respective LDL-C goals at the index date and their patient background in Groups 1-3 as defined in the guidelines: - Group 1: secondary prevention patients with their LDL-C goal of <70 mg/dL - Group 2: secondary prevention patients with their LDL-C goal of <100 mg/dL - Group 3: primary prevention patients with their LDL-C goal of <100 mg/dL | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1. Proportion of patients who achieved/did not achieve the respective LDL-C goals on the index date and their patient background in Groups 1-3, stratified by subgroups 2. Change and percent change in LDL-C and other laboratory measurements compared to the index date and the measurement date before the guideline* revision in Groups 1-3 3. Secondary endpoint 2 stratified by combination of LDL-C goal attainment (+/-) and treatment intensification (+/-) 4. To describe the LDL-C distribution (<55, <70, <100 and <120 mg/dL) of patients in groups 1-3 and to describe patient characteristics for each LDL-C distribution 5. To investigate factors that associated with LDL-C goal attainment in groups 1-3 | — |
