Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with proximal femoral fractures who visit the orthopedic outpatient clinic at Aizawa Hospital between December 1, 2025 and March 31, 2027, and who undergo DEXA evaluation based on a physician's prescription at their initial outpatient visit.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing conservative treatment 2.Patients for whom DEXA evaluation of the proximal femur of the healthy side cannot be performed 3.Patients with implants inserted in a hip joint other than the affected hip joint 4.Patients for whom bioelectrical impedance analysis cannot be performed (due to pacemaker implantation, infection, etc.) 5.Patients with a history of prior treatment for osteoporosis (drug therapy)
