Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients scheduled to undergo respiratory surgery who are 18 years of age or older at the time of informed consent and who provide consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients whose surgical procedure was changed (e.g., conversion to thoracotomy), patients for whom follow-up is difficult, and patients with deformities of the lower extremities or measurement sites or a history of surgery at those sites that would preclude accurate gait testing or muscle thickness measurement.
