Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: First-year nursing students enrolled in 2026 or later Students who have already taken the nursing technique for changing nightwear

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Students who enrolled prior to the 2025 academic year

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome is motivation in acquiring nursing skills, assessed using the Japanese version of the MSLQ.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Self-regulated learning strategies will be assessed using the Self-Regulated Learning Strategies Scale. 2. Bed linen change skills will be assessed using the Bed Linen Change Skills Assessment Form.
