Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients who underwent cardiac surgery using cardiopulmonary bypass under general anesthesia between September 2011 and October 2025 2) Placement of both radial and femoral arterial lines 3) Cases with the following time points and blood gas measurements recorded: ??(1) Arterial blood gas analysis (lactate and hemoglobin) obtained 0-60 minutes after completion of protamine administration ??(2) End-of-surgery time ??(3) ICU admission time ??(4) Arterial blood gas analysis (lactate) obtained 0-60 minutes after ICU admission 4) Patients aged 18 years or older
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Congenital heart disease surgery 2) Severe stenosis/occlusion, aneurysm, pseudoaneurysm, arteriovenous fistula, dissection, radiation- or inflammation-related lesions, or a history of vascular reconstruction (bypass, stent, or patch) involving the aorto-iliac-common femoral arterial segment 3) Use of mechanical circulatory support preoperatively, intraoperatively, or postoperatively (e.g., IABP, VAD, ECMO, Impella) 4) Severe hepatic dysfunction (Child-Pugh class C), maintenance dialysis, or intraoperative death 5) Failure to meet data-quality control criteria 6) Opt-out from the study
