Volleyball players in the functional training group participated in an eight-week hopping program, consisting of three 40-minute sessions per week. Each session included a 5-minute warm-up, 30 minutes

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male volleyball players aged 20 to 35 years Pain score of 4 to 6 on the VAS during squat movements No history of lower limb or back surgery except ACL reconstruction ACL reconstruction was performed 6 to 12 months before study participation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Missing three or more training sessions Noncompliance with exercises Pain triggered by training exercises Personal problems preventing participation
