Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 15 years or older who were transported by ambulance to the Department of Emergency and General Medicine and Health Science at Nippon Medical School Hospital with vertigo/dizziness as the chief complaint between April 1, 2012, and March 31, 2020.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Vertigo/dizziness accompanied by loss of consciousness, weakness, vagal reflexes, or other systemic symptoms that were judged by the attending physician to be unsuitable for inclusion Cases in which it was not possible to determine whether the patient had vertigo or dizziness Cases with insufficient medical records
